3x2" Red Hoodoo Mojo Bag
This magickal red leather mojo bag have some powerful origins. In Southern Hoodoo red flannel, which Negro Mammies wore around their heads as a bandanna was the most common material used to make mojo bags. The color red represents love, grounding, fire, passion, and the root chakra. The use of mojo bags originated in West Africa as protective amulets and were brought to America during the transatlantic slave trade and combined with American Indigenous practices. This was later incorporated into an American made practice known as hoodoo. Throughout slavery mojo bags were used for a wide range of purposes which include protection, healing, love, revenge, cursing, hexing, magick spells, and poisoning. If you would like to know more about Hoodoo, be sure to follow me on YouTube at "SacredEnergyXchange222," where I periodically go live for free collective readings.
